Legal stuff
A quick overview of the "legal stuff" that you should know about marriages in Australia. Have a read if you fancy but, should you pick me as your marriage celebrant, it's my job to make sure you do these on time and in order:
01
NOIM
The Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) is the first legal step in the marriage process process.
02
legal wording
While you can be creative with lots of the parts of your ceremony, there are some words that must be said.
03
declaration
The Declaration of No Legal Impediment To Marriage is another form that must be completed in advance of the ceremony.
03
certificates
The are multiple certificates that you need to sign, some of which will be submitted on your behalf and others that will be yours to keep.
